Daily processes in Salto KS
3RPMS® automatically generates the PIN for each room 24 hours before arrival. From this point on, the PIN can be sent via the Automailer or manually.
However, the PIN is not yet activated at this point, so it does not lock any doors yet.
The current status is displayed in the room detail view:
If necessary, the current PIN can also be displayed in the room detail view or a new PIN can be generated.
On arrival day
The activation of the PIN takes place automatically on the day of arrival at the time defined in the settings for the earliest arrival or when the check-in is carried out, depending on which of the two events occurs first.So if you have set 2:00 p.m. as the earliest arrival in the settings, but you check-in at 12:20 p.m. (e.g. if you arrive early), the PIN will be activated at 12:20 p.m. If you do not check-in or check-in after 2:00 p.m., the PIN is automatically activated at 2:00 p.m.
If you move a reservation to another room, the existing PIN will automatically be 'moved' with it, i. H. access to the previous room is blocked and the PIN opens the new room immediately after moving.
On the day of departure, the PIN is automatically deactivated at the time specified in the settings for the latest check-out (e.g. 11:00 am) or when the check-out is carried out, depending on which of the two events occurs first. I. E. if you check out at 9:12 a.m., the PIN will be deactivated at 9:12 a.m. If you do not check out or check out after 11:00 a.m., the PIN is automatically deactivated at 11:00 a.m.
TIP: If you have accidentally checked out or the guest has forgotten something in the room, you can undo the check-out in the room detail view by clicking on "reset". The existing PIN is then reactivated.
